East Water Treatment Plant

East Plant front entrance2600 S.W. 66th Terrace, Miramar, Florida 33023

(954) 883-6850

The plant is regulated to produce nearly six million gallons of water per day.   The plant services residents living east of Palm Avenue to South State Road 7 (441).

Originally built in the late 50’s, the plant continues to service residents with safe potable drinking water.  The plant has gone extensive renovation and in 2019 transitioned from a lime softening process to reverse osmosis/nanofiltration process.

This process allows us to treat surface and fresh ground water without any chemicals utilizing pressure to push the water through a filtration process.  It is the most advance filtration technology for treating drinking water in today’s market.

The City of Miramar would like to say THANK YOU to all the residents for their patience during our construction process.
